Role Details

Position Title Badminton Coach

Hours Mondays 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM 

Contract Period September 2026 – June 2027

Pay $20-25/hour

No. of Coaches Required 2-3

Min grade for hiring Grade 11 and above

Closing Date September 5, 2026

Location St Therese of Lisieux Catholic Elementary School, 1760 Garth Street, Hamilton, ON

Job Description:

1. Plan and deliver fun, safe, and engaging badminton sessions for children (Gr. 3 – Gr. 8).

2. Teach beginner-to-intermediate badminton skills and techniques.

3. Encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and confidence in young players.

4. Ensure all activities follow club safety policies and procedures.

5. Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback.

6. Organize drills, games, and age-appropriate training activities.

7. Communicate effectively with parents and club management.

8. Prepare courts, equipment, and training materials before sessions.

9. Assist with tournaments, events, and player development programs.

10. Consideration will be given to applicants with passion for Badminton and experience working with children (nice to have).
